Yesterday we wrapped up our bulk diaper distributions to partners for November and we wanted to share with you how your Diaper Need Awareness Week donations impact our community.

Caren from Waymakers Foundation recently visited our office and shared a touching story about an immigrant mother she’s been assisting.

This single mom has been facing tremendous challenges, trying to secure employment while juggling the hefty costs of childcare for her four children, two of whom are still in diapers.

The moment this mother received a bundle of diapers, she was moved to tears, overwhelmed with gratitude.

Your support during Diaper Need Awareness Week didn’t just provide diapers; it transformed her struggle into a time of hope. Your generosity offered her the confidence she needed to take care of her children.

198,000 diapers is going to go a long way to supporting families, keeping babies clean and healthy, and ending diaper need for even more children in Greater Richmond.
